Cosmic Ships

Written in the year 1967, this Christmas Message is a complete book in which Samael Aun Weor expands on the fundamental subjects of the Gnostic Teaching which he began to deal with in previous years.

As its title implies, in the thirty-seven chapters of this book Samael Aun Weor gathers the entire doctrine for the manufacturing or creation of the Higher Existential Bodies of the Being or Solar Bodies.

By acquiring these bodies, the Initiate gets rid of the fatal lunar heredity (the lunar or natural bodies), to which all human beings are subjugated, thus attaining the true immortality of the Soul, the Second Birth, and becoming a Real or Solar Man, an Adept of the Conscious Circle of Solar Humanity.

When an Initiate reaches this stage, he or she just accomplishes the First Mountain of Initiation. In the last chapters of this book the author introduces the Second Mountain: the Path of John, or Path of the Logos, which leads to the perfection of Mastership and Initiatory Resurrection.

‘Whoever wants to incarnate his total Soul, his Divine Immortal Triad, Atman-Buddhi-Manas, must first descend to the Ninth Sphere (Sex) in order to create his solar electronic bodies…’

Written in 1965, and first published the next year, The Buddha’s Necklace was the third Christmas Message in the format of a book written by Samael Aun Weor.

Christmas Messages, as a whole, have a definite object: to condense and expand the Gnostic body of doctrine in a gradual scale of development, in increasing musical octaves. Therefore, each Christmas Message represents a higher note as far as the delivery of the Gnostic Teaching is concerned.

In connection with this, The Buddha’s Necklace expands on important subjects related to the Gnostic doctrine, some of them being already introduced in previous Messages. Simultaneously, it introduces new subjects, specifically in relation to the science of awakening and the incarnation of the Cosmic Christ (the Venusta Initiation).

In this respect, this book is a good example of the merging of Christian Esoterism and Buddhist Esoterism (which will be so important for the esoteric culture of the future humanity of Aquarius).

In the words of Samael Aun Weor: Buddha and the Christ complement each other. Since Buddha brought us the doctrine of Atman (our Innermost) and Christ brought us the doctrine of the Cosmic Christ (Chokmah). 

In some chapters of the book, Buddhist Esoterism is dealt with and extensively explained, starting from the ‘axis’ of the book and main symbol: the necklace of the Buddha — the necklace symbolizing the Wheel of Samsara (our present state of conditioning and slavery) with its 108 beads (108 lives assigned to every Essence or returning Soul).

In addition, the book includes chapters devoted to the science of Tantrism and the creation of the Solar Bodies or Higher Existential Bodies of the Being (Second factor: To Be Born). In other words, The Buddha’s Necklace deals extensively with the Three Factors for the Revolution of Consciousness, following the trend initiated in the previous Christmas Messages.

The study of the Ego and its dissolution are also dealt with at length, including a detailed explanation about the study of the human subconscious, the analysis of the Ego and its dissolution.

The Third Factor of the Revolution of Consciousness is dealt with in the chapters devoted to the Cosmic Drama and the Venusta Initiation. Specifically, in the first and last chapters of the book, the author elaborates on the sacrifice of the Solar Logos and its importance for the creation and maintenance of the Cosmos and, at an internal level, its fundamental importance for the redemption of the human being: the incarnation of the Cosmic Christ in connection with the Nativity of the Heart (the birth of the Inner Saviour in the Initiate’s Heart), through which the Esoteric Resurrection and subsequent perfection of mastership are achieved.

The Buddha’s Necklace also includes important chapters devoted to self-remembering, division of attention and the science of meditation, which help us in the Awakening of Consciousness and the deep analysis of the Ego.

So, The Buddha’s Necklace clearly demonstrates that the Gnostic Teaching, as delivered by the Avatar of Aquarius Samael Aun Weor, is complete in itself and constitutes an organic whole in which all parts are interrelated.

‘The hero of the Solar Myth has been always depicted as a God-Man, and his life unfolds according to the course of the Sun, which is the cosmic vehicle of the Solar Logos…’

Revolutionary Gnostic Philosophy deals with the Gnostic solution in regard to Final Liberation.

In this book Samael Aun Weor proves that human beings live in a section of the Cosmos in which they are subject to a great number of oppressive laws, making our life difficult and complicated.

The author explains in detail our position in the Cosmos, our place in the Ray of Creation or cosmic organization, and how we can take advantage of the ‘cosmic scale‘ (the symbolic Jacob’s Ladder) in order to ascend and get out of this limiting and painful conditions, to eventually live in a world, in a cosmos, of greater freedom, away from lower laws, until we finally attain the One Law, the One Will, the One Consciousness of the Absolute.

More importanly, Samael Aun Weor throws light on the fact that, because of the particular state of the human psychic, we have a tendency to identify, sooner or later, with denser worlds, with more complicated conditions; specifically, with what the author calls the Sunken Mineral Kingdom.

Samael Aun Weor goes on to explain that the Sunken Mineral Kingdom, with its dark forces, acts as a ‘magnet’, drawing human beings towards its bosom; to the extent that almost all of humanity is ‘devoured’ by the Sunken Mineral Kingdom or ‘planetary crematorium’.

The solution to this is given in this book, and can be summarized as the Revolution of Consciousness with its three cardinal factors, which are To Die, To Be Born and Sacrifice for Humanity.

The last part of the book is devoted to the study of the human subconscious, which is the study of the Ego itself.

The last chapters of the book are devoted to the science of meditation, which masterfully complements all the information given by the author in previous chapters.

In this book, and in order to eliminate the Ego or Psychological I, the author lays emphasis on the need for us to keep away from any form of false ethics, with its moralistic attitudes, based on sanctimoniousness and smugness, by which Gnostic students can be easily confused and identified with. The antidote to this is always to understand and develop conscious ethics, which spontaneously allows us to free ourselves from many forms of deception and self-delusion.

Written in 1965, Revolutionary Gnostic Philosophy is the second Christmas Message written by Samael Aun Weor with a distinct title (the first one being Technique for the Dissolution of the I).

As with every Christmas Message, it contains the ‘essence’ or ‘core’ of the Gnostic Teaching for the Age of Aquarius.

In the Message of Aquarius, Samael Aun Weor explains the enigmatic Book of Revelation chapter by chapter and verse by verse in a masterly and mould-breaking way, and in doing so, he highlights the main aspects of Contemporary Gnosticism, in reference to the meaning and implications of the present time and the urgency for us to carry out a work of self-transformation in our own psychology, if we really want to keep up with the changes that the planet Earth will go through in the nearby future as it enters into the astronomical cycle of Aquarius and its direct influences; hence the title of the book: The Message of Aquarius.

Fiery Rose belongs to a series of initial books of a purely initiatory content.

This book was written in 1953, when Samael Aun Weor had just succeeded in raising his 4th Kundalini Serpent, thus attaining the Fourth Initiation of the Fire or of Greater Mysteries. As a result, he became a Buddha of the Cosmic Mind and an inhabitant of Nirvana, as he explains at length throughout the thirty-seven chapters of this book.

The Fourth Initiation of Greater Mysteries is known in Kabbalah as the Initiation of Netzach, and represents, as its name suggests, a great achievement, a great victory… involving nothing less than the christification of the mind, that is to say, the transformation of the matter-mind (lunar mind) into a Christ-mind (Solar Mind), by which the Initiate obtains an individualized Cosmic Mind at the service of the Innermost, of the Spirit.

The Christic Solar Mind is the same mind referred to by Paul of Tarsus (Master Hilarion) when he wrote:

‘Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.’ (Nous Christou)  (1 Cor. 2:16)

The Christ-mind, or Nous Christou in Greek, turns the Initiate into a real Super-Man, with abilities and powers that the human species cannot imagine, including access to the Universal Knowledge and the Objective Science of the Being, by which the Initiate becomes a competent investigator of the higher worlds.

In one word, it turns the Initiate into an Arhat with powers over everything created.

This transformation is possible thanks to the Sacred Fire of Kundalini, as it ascends through the thirty-three vertebras of the Initiate’s mental body, with all its initiatory tests, chambers and degrees.

Samael Aun Weor’s power of objective investigation is patently clear throughout the book in that it displays a deep study of Nature and its elemental life as well as its relationship with human life and evolution (a subject completely unknown to contemporary science), which the author deals with extensively and in a masterly way.

Fiery Rose is primarily a guide or ‘handbook‘ for the Initiate who is raising the Fourth Snake on the Rod, or in other words, for the Arhat.

Simultaneously, for the aspirant to the esoteric studies and students in general, the book offers extremely valuable information about the human mind: its origin, its real nature, and more importantly, how to know it and control it so as to stop being victims of it, thus achieving its gradual dominion and the accompanying Awakening of Consciousness.

Undoubtedly, this book, offers exceedingly valuable information to any serious student of Gnosis interested in going deeper into the Wisdom of Fire and its practical implementation.

The Revolution of Bel was the second book by Samael Aun Weor. He wrote it a few months after his first book, The Perfect Marriage (The Gateway to Initiation), in 1950.

With these two books Samael Aun Weor set out the ‘keynote’ for his entire work during the first part of his mission, covering a period of almost thirty years, in his capacity of the Avatar (messenger) of the Age of Aquarius. Since with these two books he ‘started off’, preparing humanity for the approaching Age of Aquarius, both at an esoteric and cultural level.

In short, these two books contain the foundations of a new esoteric paradigm for humanity, following the decrees of the Conscious Circle of Solar Humanity (White Lodge).

If his first book, The Perfect Marriage deals at length with the Path of Initiation and how to access it; his second book, The Revolution of Bel, instead expands on the previous one, laying special emphasis on exposing the enemies of the Path of Initiation, and in general, of the plan of the Solar Logos for this humanity, namely the Black Lodge.

In The Revolution of Bel, Samael Aun Weor discloses the main doctrines, rituals, initiations of the black brotherhood, as he clearly explains its ethos and objectives. At the same time, the author unmasks its main hierarchs and institutions.

This was necessary, since all these black organizations appear as legitimate ones, using esoteric names and accepted doctrines, with the only aim of deceiving the aspirants, alienating them from the path of the Light and turning them into members of of black-magic orders, and all of this without them realizing it.

Throughout the book, Samael Aun Weor devotes a good number of pages to setting out the differences between the white and black initiation, thoroughly explaining how the white initiation is based on  the positive awakening of Kundalini, thus turning the aspirant into a Master or Adept of the White Brotherhood, while, on the other hand, the black initiation is based on fornication (seminal spilling) and the negative awakening of the serpent Kundalini, thus turning the aspirant into a ‘demon’, into a transgressing black magician.

Concurrently, in this book the author reveals in detail the personal process of one of the main hierarchs of the Black Lodge – one known by the name of Beelzebub, or simply Bel, who, believing that he was being initiated into a temple of Light in a remote past, in reality he was lured into the black path, eventually becoming one of its main leaders, the so-called ‘prince of demons’.

Fortunately, thanks to the personal effort of Samael Aun Weor, Beelzebub recognized his error, left the Black Lodge, and became an Adept of the White Lodge. Hence the title of the book The Revolution of Bel.

To better understand this historical period, in the last part of the book the author tells us that 1950 was a truly crucial year for humanity, not only because a main hierarch of the Black Lodge repented of his wrong ways and went over to the White Lodge – a thing never seen before in the history of humanity, but because two major events also took place in that year as a preparation for the Age of Aquarius.

The first one, following the instructions of the White Lodge, and fulfilling the prophecies of the book of Revelation, Samael captures and puts out of action the chief hierarch of the Black Lodge, a fallen Throne, called Jahve. This hierarch was the direct responsible for the failure of this humanity.

Jahve, the head of the Black Lodge, is locked up in Avitchi (abyss of the black moon), and with him thousands of black magicians; this bringing about a substantial cleansing of the astral atmosphere of the Earth, and eventually allowing for the successful beginning of the Age of Aquarius and for the birth and growth of the Gnostic Movement worldwide.

The second event, which took place in 1950, was the Final Judgement of humanity, in which the White Lodge certifies that human evolution has failed and that humanity deserves to be sent to the abyss.

And now, the remaining years, from 1950 onwards, what we have is an extra time given to humanity, a ‘period of grace’, a unique opportunity for us to take up the Path of Initiation and to clearly define our position, either for the Christ or for Jahve, either for the White Lodge or for the Black Lodge.

Finally, this book contains an extensive appendix with fifty-eight questions posed to Samael Aun Weor at that time. These questions and their answers deal with many diverse esoteric topics, some of them not found anywhere in the extensive corpus of the author’s work.
